Privacy Policy
The short version: we only ask for what we need to answer your event or order request, we use it only for that, and we never sell it.
Who we are
Coppa Magica makes gelato in Wells, Maine. This policy covers this website and the "Plan your event" form on it. Questions: info@coppamagica.com.
What we collect
Only what you type into the form: your name, email and phone number, and, depending on your request, the event date, the number of guests or the amount, the place, what you have in mind, and your message or special requests.
We don't take payments on this website, and we don't use advertising trackers. To see how many people visit and which pages they read, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying you. Like every website, our hosting provider receives your IP address and browser details when you visit, so it can deliver the pages and keep them safe.
How we use it
To reply to your request, plan your event or order with you, and send you a short confirmation that we got it. We don't add you to a mailing list.
Who helps us
We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't share it for advertising. A few services handle it for us, only to do their job:
- Cloudflare hosts this website, stores form requests, and runs a security check (Turnstile) that tells people from spam bots. Turnstile reads technical signals from your browser, not what you type in the form.
- Resend delivers your request to our inbox and a confirmation to you.
- Google Workspace is our email inbox.
We may also share information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Up to two years after our last conversation with you, then we delete it.
Your choices
Email info@coppamagica.com to see, correct or delete the details you sent us.
Do Not Track
This website doesn't follow you across other websites, and we don't let other companies collect information about your browsing across sites through it. So every visit is treated the same, whether or not your browser sends a "Do Not Track" signal.
Children
This website is meant for adults planning events and orders. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us details, email us and we'll delete them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
